Bay County voters say 'no' to extending half-cent tax

Bay County voters narrowly struck down a referendum to extend the half-cent sales tax for schools. The unofficial final totals were:

Yes - 10,111 (49.33 percent)
No - 10,384 (50.67 percent)

The totals will not be certified until after 5 p.m. Friday.
