Burnie Thompson - Stop Florida Senate Bill 2968 ...
... which is composed of a list of allegations against the Bay County Sheriff's Office boot camp drill instructors. The bill, sposored by the Black Caucus, charges "the wrongful death of Martin Lee Anderson ... was due to the direct actions of the Bay County Sheriff's Office ..." The bill, in my opinion, convicts the drill instructors and ignores the opinion of the medical examiner of record, Dr. Charles Siebert.

Contact co-sponsor Sen. Al Lawson, District 6, demand he remove himself from this reprehensible bill and vote against it.

Even Sen. Don Gaetz, District 4, calls this bill "a violation of the separation of powers" and "way, way overreaching." You can hear Sen. Gaetz discuss this bill on my show: Friday, April 13, first segment of the 8 O'Clock hour.
